Pricing

The numbers,
before the call

Most agencies hide pricing so they can anchor to your budget. I would rather you decide on this page whether the numbers work than spend two weeks discovering we are too expensive for each other.

Starter

$5,000

per month

One focused workstream, run properly, on the pages closest to revenue.

Best for: Seed to Series A SaaS with a small marketing team and a clear category.

  • Commercial keyword map built from your sales calls, not a tool export
  • Technical audit and a prioritised fix list your engineers will accept
  • 3 substantial pages or articles per month
  • Internal linking and on-page work across the existing site
  • Monthly reporting wired into Google Analytics and Search Console
  • A named consultant on email and Slack

Link acquisition budget is separate and optional at this tier.

What a realistic first year costs

For a Series A or B SaaS company in a moderately competitive category on the Growth package, a full twelve months lands around $126,000 once link budget is included. Whether that is expensive depends entirely on your average contract value and close rate, which is the first calculation we do together before anyone commits to anything.

Link acquisition × 11

Questions

About money

01 Why is link building budget separate?
Because it is money paid to publishers, researchers and designers rather than to me, and folding the two together makes it impossible to see what you are actually paying for strategy. For most B2B categories the link budget runs $2,000 to $5,000 a month. I will tell you which end of that range your specific search results require before you commit to anything.
02 What is the minimum commitment?
One quarter. Nothing meaningful can be judged in less than three months, and a rolling monthly contract from day one creates an incentive to chase visible-but-worthless wins in week six. After the first quarter it runs month to month with 30 days notice.
03 Is there a setup fee?
No. The first month covers the audit and strategy work, which is the heaviest month of the engagement. There is no separate onboarding charge on top.
04 Can I move between packages?
Yes, in either direction, at any month boundary. Several clients start on Starter to test the working relationship and move up in month three or four. A couple have moved down after the heavy build phase, which is a reasonable thing to do once the commercial pages are live and the work becomes maintenance.
05 What counts as "Custom"?
Anything with a defined end: a standalone audit, a replatform, a fixed-scope programmatic build, training for an in-house team, or fractional head-of-SEO work at a day rate. Send the details and you get a scope and a fixed number back, usually within two working days.
06 Do you offer performance-based pricing?
No, and I would be careful with anyone who does. It only works if both sides agree on attribution up front, and in a five-month B2B sales cycle with six touchpoints that agreement falls apart the first time a deal closes. What I do instead is publish the forecast, report against it monthly, and make it easy to leave if the numbers do not appear.
07 What is not included in any package?
Paid media management, web design and development beyond SEO-specific changes, translation for international markets, and the link acquisition budget itself. I have people I trust for the first three and will introduce you directly rather than marking up their work.
